Bath Western Riverside (Awaiting Planning Approval)

Plans to develop this 35 acre site include more than 2000 homes ranging from studios to 4/5 bedroom houses with ground floor use of some of the buildings for small shops, cafes and bars.

The potential development will also include two commercial buildings, purpose built student accommodation (or school) and a community building.

Basement car parking will be included and a rapid transport link to the city centre has been incorporated in the design proposals. Plans also show a public open space interacting with the river and including an ecology base.

It is estimated that phase one will be half completed by 2011 and finished by 2018.
