West at Work is a partnership project that supports the local economy by coordinating and developing employment and skills activity across the West of England.
The project coordinates public sector activity and private industry requirements to ensure that support is specifically developed to meet local needs and respond to economic changes.
Activity includes work with local businesses and particular sectors, supporting training and advice for jobseekers and promoting opportunities to increase skill levels across the area.
The project is run by the West of England Partnership (WEP) and our work plans are directed by the Skills and Competitiveness Board (for more information about the Board see About Us).
